Call To All Nations

Words by J. Roel Lungay

Music by Romeo C. Mascariñas

Performed by Romeo Mascariñas

1
Millions of people,
Counting our children,
Are dying everywhere.
Millions of others,
Brothers and sisters,
Their lives like living hell.
Life doesn’t have to be this way
We’ve come a long, long way, we say.
There are so many other ways
Why can’t we start the change today?

Refrain:
And so I make this call to all nations -
Children of the world, folks of all colours.
From east to west, to north and south,
From me to you and you to all.
Here’s my call to all humanity -
Let us rid of poverty,
Try to set all people free
And afford them dignity -
The life deserving you and me.

2
Where is our future
And where is the concord
Our hearts our longing for?
Where is the solace
And where is the peace
We all try to achieve?
Life doesn’t have to be this way
We’ve come a long, long way, we say
There are so many other ways
Why can't we start the change today?

Bridge:
Build a bridge of harmony
Friendship, peace and unity;
Make a room for one another
In your mind and heart and soul.

(Repeat Refrain except last line)

Coda:
The life deserving you and me.
